The self-portrait was drawn using a reference photo taken with an ageing filter app. The aged image reflects the countless editing tools available on most technological devices. However, instead of aiming for a more youthful and ‘flawless’ picture as most filters achieve, this piece works to envision the ageing self - celebrating where one is going, instead of where one has been.
